WATCH: Republican candidates emphasize economy, energy in 1st District debate
Three Republican candidates seeking New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District seat found broad agreement on immigration, gun rights, foreign policy and federal spending during a debate hosted by the Seacoast Republican Coalition.
Holly Noveletsky, Anthony DiLorenzo and state Rep. Brian Cole participated in the hourlong forum, which also covered housing, artificial intelligence, election laws, presidential power, women’s sports and constituent services.
The candidates differed primarily in the experience and priorities they said they would bring to Congress.
Noveletsky, a structural steel company owner, nurse practitioner and Army veteran, emphasized manufacturing, health care and what she described as “kitchen table” concerns. She said New Hampshire needs an expanded electrical grid and investments in roads, bridges, telecommunications, water and sewer systems to support housing and manufacturing.
