Southern Nevada congressional candidates approach Q2 finance deadline with wide funding disparities

With today’s second-quarter Federal Election Commission filing deadline looming, preprimary campaign finance disclosures in three Southern Nevada congressional races paint a picture of incumbent Democrats holding substantial cash reserves against Republican challengers who face fundraising gaps of varying severity heading into the general election.
Across Nevada’s 1st, 3rd and 4th congressional districts, the quarterly reports due today will provide the most complete financial snapshot yet of contests that national analysts regard as among the more competitive House battlegrounds in the country. The preprimary filings — covering Jan. 1, 2025, through May 20, 2026, for most candidates — already reveal the contours of each race.
