Candidates for New York’s 3rd, 4th Congressional Districts
Long Island voters will head to the polls on Tuesday, June 23, to elect Democratic and Republican nominees for New York’s 3rd and 4th Congressional Districts.
Early voting began Saturday, June 13, and continues through Sunday, June 21. On Primary Day, polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m, and voters must be enrolled in a political party to participate.
In the 3rd Congressional District, Democratic U.S. Rep. Tom Suozzi faces public defender Danielle Welch, while Republicans Greg Hach and former state Assembly Member Michael LiPetri Jr. are competing for their party’s nomination.
In the 4th Congressional District, Democratic U.S. Rep. Laura Gillen faces Frank Lozada. The Republican primary includes Marvin Williams and Jeanine Driscoll.
The winners will advance to the Nov. 3 general election. Voters can confirm their registration and Election Day polling place through the New York State Board of Elections.
