Brad Lander to win 10th Congressional District Democratic primary, AP says

Former City Comptroller Brad Lander will be the Democratic Party nominee in November’s election for New York’s 10th Congressional District, according to The Associated Press.
Lander, who was endorsed by and campaigned alongside Mayor Zohran Mamdani, was challenging incumbent Rep. Dan Goldman in Tuesday’s primary.
The district covers Lower Manhattan and part of Brooklyn from downtown to Park Slope.
Lander received 62% of votes, compared to Goldman’s 37.8%, with more than 34% of the expected vote in, according to AP.
Mamdani introduced Lander during Lander's election party in Brooklyn Tuesday night, praising him.
"Brad brings a kindness to this work. He brings a sincerity to this work. He brings a vision of politics that is more than what we have seen for so long," Mamdani said.
