Trump endorses Republican Kailee Buller in NY-22 election
WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump has endorsed Kailee Buller, the Republican candidate running for New York’s 22nd Congressional District seat.
Trump issued the endorsement on his social media platform Truth Social. Buller is challenging Rep. John Mannion, a Democrat who is serving his first term in Congress and is seeking a second term.
“As the former Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Agriculture in my administration, Kailee has proven she has the courage and wisdom to deliver strong results for the incredible people of her state and our nation,” Trump said in his endorsement. “She has truly been with us from the beginning.”
Buller has held roles within the Trump administration, in his first term as chief of staff to the Deputy Secretary of Agriculture, and then taking on the position of chief of staff to Brooke Rollins, the current U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, during Trump’s second term.
