CLEVELAND — Congresswoman Shontel Brown and other Cleveland-area politicians called for more information regarding an FBI raid at the Ohio Organizing Collaborative on Thursday, June 11th.
“They went to homes, they followed people in their cars, they knocked on doors, they tried to enter homes. And five days later there’s still so much we don’t know, including how much of this was covered by a warrant,” Brown said of the FBI operation.
Brown claims there were hundreds of agents involved in the operation, but that number has not been verified.
Spectrum News reached out to the Cleveland Bureau of Investigation for more information about the raid, but they declined to comment.
“Typically, when something like this happens, other agencies have some awareness, and we were not looped in on this, and there has been no transparency,” Brown said.
