Election 2026: Dave Joyce, Maria Jukic to face off in 14th District race
With one final step toward securing an eighth two-year term in Congress, U.S. Rep. Dave Joyce, R-Russell Township, reaffirmed his commitment to Ohio’s 14th District this week.
“I’ve been fighting to make life more affordable for hardworking Ohio families and to foster greater prosperity in our northeast Ohio communities,” Joyce said, mere minutes after defeating former Trumbull County Commissioner Niki Frenchko in the May 5 Primary Election by 70.3 percent of the vote, according to unofficial final results.
“Building on a longstanding dedication to delivering results, I’m proud to have helped deliver a historic tax cut, greater safety, lower electricity costs, continued progress against the opioid epidemic and investments in the jobs, people, and unique assets that make northeast Ohio strong,” he added.
