Ohio — 14th District

NBC News has projected that Maria Jukic has won the Democratic primary race for Ohio’s 14th Congressional District.

She defeated Democratic opponents Carl Setzer and Bill O’Neill by 50.6% of the votes.

Jukic will now move on to the November 2026 General Election, where she’ll take on incumbent Republican candidate Dave Joyce.

According to her campaign website, Jukic describes herself as a voice for the “massive middle” and aims to listen to and learn from her constituents to find common ground.

Her platform includes making healthcare more affordable and accessible, immigrant rights, social security protection, tax relief for working families, campaign finance reform, protecting the environment and regulating artificial intelligence.
