Mitchell Jacob launches campaign for Oklahoma’s 4th Congressional District in Lawton
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - Mitchell Jacob launched his campaign for Oklahoma’s Fourth Congressional District Saturday, holding a public rally in Lawton.
Jacob held the event at the Oklahoma Blood Institute on Southwest A Avenue. Attendees could meet the candidate, hear his priorities, learn about volunteer roles and connect with other supporters.
Jacob said his campaign comes down to three main reasons.
“We have an unconstitutional war that’s driving up the price of pretty much everything. Fertilizer, so your food is more expensive. Gas and oil, so your utility bills are going up. Your gas prices at the pump are going up so much more. And that’s all that affordability is stemming from unconstitutionality. Number two, we must eliminate the federal debt. We now owe just about $40 trillion. We spend $1.2 trillion per year, or about 100 billion per month. And number three, I just want to treat public education like an investment, not like an expense,” Jacob said.
