Beaver County Sheriff Tony Guy wins Republican nomination for U.S. House in Pennsylvania's 17th Congressional District

(Beaver County, PA) Tony Guy defeated Jesse James Vodvarka in the Republican primary for Pennsylvania’s 17th Congressional District, according to a CBS News projection.
Guy will face incumbent Democratic U.S. Representative Chris Deluzio in the general election. Deluzio, who is seeking a third term, ran unopposed in yesterday’s Democratic primary.
Guy has served as the Beaver County sheriff since 2016. Vodvarka is a manager at a family-owned business, according to his campaign website.
The general election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3rd.
