Democrat Nancy Lacore now included in DCCC’s 'Red to Blue' program for 2026 cycle
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The national Democratic Party has its eyes on South Carolina's 1st Congressional District.
In an announcement Thursday, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the official political committee and campaign arm of the Democratic Party, announced it added the Lowcountry's coastal congressional district to its "Red to Blue" program for the 2026 cycle.
With the addition of the 1st Congressional District comes strategic guidance, staff resources, training and fundraising support for Nancy Lacore, the winner of June's primary.
