Debate set for SC’s 1st Congressional District candidates
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Candidates running for South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District will debate Friday night.
Democratic candidate Nancy Lacore and Republican candidate Jenny Costa Honeycutt will go head-to-head at 7 p.m.
Early voting for the midterm election begins Monday in South Carolina. Early voting runs from Monday through Oct. 31. Polling locations will be open each day from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Oct. 25, when polls will be closed.
Voters must bring a valid photo ID to vote. Voters who do not vote during the early voting period can vote on Election Day, Nov. 3.
The debate can be watched on Channel 5 or streamed on the Live 5 Plus app. Viewers can search “Live 5” on their streaming device to install the app.
