Tom Sell wins District 19 Republican primary runoff
LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Tom Sell has won the Republican primary runoff for Texas’ 19th U.S. Congressional District. With more than 99 percent of votes reporting, Sell drew 64.3 percent, Abraham Enriquez 35.7 percent.
“I couldn’t be more proud,” Sell said Tuesday night.
“And I really owe thanks to so many people who came in in support of our campaign early on and just were a voice of credibility. There’s nothing better than the testimony of a friend.”

Sell and Enriquez emerged from a seven-man race in March. Sell will face Kyle Rable in the general election in November.
Opposing primary campaigns painted Sell as a Washington insider or RINO, Republican In Name Only.
“People who I’ve worked with and who know me and who live life with us here in Lubbock, Texas, knew that that was hogwash,” Sell said, saying he has lived out conservative values and done so much work for the Republican party over many years.
