The results are in for nominations for Texas’ Congressional District 35.
Johnny Garcia defeated Maureen Galindo in the Democratic Texas Congressional District 35 runoff election, the Associated Press projects. The race was called by AP at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday.
Carlos De La Cruz secured the Republican Texas Congressional District 35 nomination over John Lujan, the AP projects. The race was called by AP at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the Associated Press, roughly two-thirds of all votes have been counted in this race.
