Everything to know for the Aug. 4 primaries in Virginia
RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Virginia voters will head to the polls Tuesday, Aug. 4 to choose candidates for U.S. House races and other special elections.
When you vote, you will choose whether you want to vote in the Democratic or Republican primary. You cannot vote in both.
Democratic Primaries will be held in the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 8th and 9th U.S. House districts across Virginia.
Republicans will have a primary for the U.S. Senate candidate and in the 5th, 7th, and 10th U.S. House districts.
In Chesterfield County, Democrats will have a special election in the Dale District for a Board of Supervisors seat.
