VIRGINIA – Joy A. Powers is projected to win the Democratic primary for Virginia’s 9th Congressional District, defeating challengers Adam Grayson Murphy and Douglas E. Crockett.
Powers will face incumbent U.S. Rep. Morgan Griffith (R) in November.
