Good evening. It’s the Fri­day after Top Two Elec­tion Day and new bal­lot tab­u­la­tions are land­ing from Wash­ing­ton State’s most pop­u­lous counties.

There’s been a few lead changes today and we’re get­ting a more com­plete pic­ture of each con­test now that most bal­lots are count­ed. Let’s dive into the new results.

In the race for the 8th Con­gres­sion­al Dis­trict, Repub­li­can Spencer Meline has again swapped sec­ond place with fel­low Repub­li­can Trinh Ha, with Meline surg­ing to a 1,269 vote advan­tage for sec­ond place.
