Christina Hines (D), Michael Bouchard (R), and three other candidates are running in the general election for Michigan's 10th Congressional District on November 3, 2026.
Incumbent John James (R) is running for governor rather than seeking re-election. James was elected 48.8%–48.3% in 2022 and 51.1%–45.0% in 2024. President Donald Trump (R) defeated Kamala Harris (D) 52.2%–45.7% in the 2024 presidential election in the 10th District.
Both the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee are targeting the 10th District. As of August 2026, major election forecasters rated the general election Lean Republican, Tilt Republican, or Toss-up.
Hines is a former prosecutor and law professor.
